What’s the Difference Between Damascus Steel and Damasteel?

And why does it matter?

Both Damascus steel and Damasteel boast the stunning, intricate patterns that make Damascus so visually captivating, along with the strength and durability that define high-quality knives.

However, Damasteel takes these attributes to the next level by incorporating modern powder metallurgy, which offers exceptional stainless properties and high performance in the kitchen.

TLDR: Damasteel is a manufacturer of premium quality stainless Damascus steel in Söderfors, Sweden.

Paring in Vinland™

A paring is the knife for smaller jobs that are done on a cutting board. Perfect for slicing shallots, cutting herbs, and boning smaller proteins. A knife this size also makes the perfect bar knife or steak knife in a pinch. Additionally, paring knives are an indispensable tool for those who feel uncomfortable wielding a larger chef knife.
