New Drop, new Playlist and a Pop-Up!

Hello everyone!
We've been a little quiet over here on the blog and it's because it has been a busy Spring.
We love sharing our story about making knives with you--it gets tricky when we are a small team learning something new every day! 

We are thrilled to announce that we will be celebrating one year of Primeaux next month and to honor our team and all of you we are planning super special pop-up collaboration with our friends at Batik Charleston! Mark your calendar as the date will be Friday, May 12th from 5:30p-8p at our shop!

We're so grateful for the support of our customers and friends. We *literally* couldn't have done this without you! We're excited to see what the future holds for our business, and we can't wait to continue making the best knives possible. I'm not sure if you know this but right now it's just three of us running the whole shop! We have been clocking long days and nights because we believe in the dream that sharp knives will change the world and enhance enjoyment for food lovers everywhere. Besides being spread thin as a small team, there have been lots of obstacles that we have to overcome every day.

Here are some of the challenges we have faced so far as a small business:

• Building our unique tools: We have built all of our tools ourselves and retro-fitted them because before we started no tools existed yet to accomplish what we were looking to do and that alone has come at a huge learning curve and time constraint. It's a long road but there is *never* a dull moment and so we wouldn't ask for it to be different...
• Designing and testing our knives: We spent a lot of time (literally months upon months) designing and testing our knives to ensure that they were the best possible quality. We wanted to make sure that our knives were sharp, durable, and comfortable to use. John Phillips of Phillips Forged was tired of seeing knives being used improperly so he set to design cutlery that helps someone physically cut *better* and *safer.* Our knives are sharper than the rest because they are made with premium steels that don't even compare to other knives on the market.
• Marketing our business: We had to learn how to market our business effectively in order to reach our target audience. If you ever know of anyone interested in professional quality tools such as a Primeaux knife, cutting board or knife covers feel free to share about us! We will be offering new products on a rolling basis and we are so excited to share with more people and help them enhance their cooking experience.

Despite the challenges, we are proud of what we have accomplished so far. We have built a successful business that is providing our customers with the best possible knives. We are excited to continue growing our business and making a positive impact on the world.
